Rules And Guidelines


  • Registration must be done in a Group of 2 to 6 participants.
  • Each Team will be provided a unique Team ID which will be used for communicating with the team during the Hackathon.
  • If your team had participated in AATMANIRBHAR BHARAT IDEATHON with the same team and same domain then you’ll get extra points in the evaluation criteria for AATMANIRBHAR BHARAT HACKATHON
    • Conditions Applied: The points will be given only to those who qualified above the threshold limit in judging criteria and the discretion of points depends on the experts
  • Tracks
    • The 5 tracks of the Hackathon are:

    • Problem Statements for Hackathon are based on the above-listed tracks.
    • For, Detailed Description of the tracks and the problem statements.
    • If you have a new idea apart from these tracks and are relevant to the theme of AATMANIRBHAR BHARAT, then contact the organizers we can arrange to include your given problem statement.
  • Rounds
    • Round 1: Expert Interaction Round
      • In this round, you will be given 5 minutes for Interaction with an expert.
      • Teams will be filtered based on this round as well as Code/Algorithm submitted for the Final Evaluation Round.
    • Round 2: Final Evaluation of Projects
      • Teams have to present their project live in front of the jury panel.
      • Teams will be allotted a 15 minutes time slot.
        • 5 minutes: PowerPoint Presentation (Maximum 5 Slides)
        • 5 minutes: Live Demo of Project
        • 5 minutes: Discussion with the jury panel
      • All Team Members must present in the Final Evaluation Round.
  • Submission
    • Documents that teams have to submit:
      • If you are working on Web Development, App Development, or Machine Learning Program
        • Web Development: Host your Website and Submit the link
        • App Development: Share APK file of your App
        • ML Program: Share Source Code of your project
      • If you are working on Algorithms, upload a PDF file to your Google Drive and submit the Link of that PDF file.
      • For any other projects, upload your project to GitHub and submit the GitHub link of that project.
      • PowerPoint Presentation (Maximum 5 Slides) according to the given template/link.
    • Submission of both rounds will be done in 2 steps and using Dev Folio Online System, GitHub and Google Drive, as per the following steps:
      • Team Leader has to create an account on Dev Folio and upload the team's project on Dev Folio and answer all the questions.
        • Project Title: Project Name
        • Tagline: Team ID + Team Name
          • Ex. AANBHT110001 - Team Gods
      • After uploading the project on Dev Folio the team has to submit a Dev Folio Project link via Google Form.
  • Timeline
    • Hackathon Start Date: 9th July 2020 10:00 IST
    • Hacking Begins: 9th July 2020 11:00 IST
    • Expert Interaction Round: 9th July 2020 18:30 IST to 9th July 2020 20:30 IST
    • Hacking Ends: 10th July 2020 11:00 IST
    • Final Evaluation Round Submission: 10th July 2020 11:00 IST to 10th July 2020 12:30 IST
    • Final Evaluation Round: 10th July 2020 15:00 IST to 10th July 2020 19:30 IST
    • Hackathon Ending Date: 10th July 2020 20:00 IST
    • Result Declaration: 14th July 2020

    • This Hackathon is based on Software Applications, only.
    • Certificates will be distributed within 12 days

Ideathon is based on theme of “Atmanirbhar Bharat”.In this time of pandemic, two major communities of our college, SSIP and TEQIP-III, are planning for an Online Ideathon named “Aatmanirbhar Bharat Ideathon”.This event is based on the concept of Today's problem will bring tomorrow's innovation. The main aim behind this event is to unleash one's creativity by providing them a perfect platform.This Ideathon Contains different domains of General Purpose and is related to the theme of "Atmanirbhar Bharat". Winners will get rewards worth ₹ 2 Lakhs.

This event is based on the concept ‘Today’s problem will bring tomorrow’s innovation’. The main aim behind this event is to unleash the creativity by providing an appropriate platform. The problem statements that are based on theme of ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ would be live on our website soon. The necessary information and Rule Book will be released through our website of Aatmanirbhar Bharat Hackathon. Winners will get rewards worth ₹ 2 Lakhs.

About NPIU

National Project Implementation Unit (NPIU) is a unit of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, established in August 1990 for coordination, facilitation, monitoring and to provide guidance to the States/Institutions in all aspects of the projects. During 1991 to 2007, NPIU implemented three Technician Education Projects of Government of India assisted by the World Bank, which helped to strengthen and upgrade the Technician Education System and benefited 552 polytechnics in 27 States including UTs of Andaman & Nicobar Island and Puducherry. These three Projects have been rated as "Highly Satisfactory" on Project Management and implementation, which is the highest rating, provided by the World Bank. Success of three Technician Education Projects encouraged the Govt. of India to seek similar financial assistance from the World Bank for a systemic transformation of the technical education system as a whole with special focus on overall Quality Improvement in engineering education.
